The Print recipe button (on the card) and the Print Recipe button (next to Jump to Recipe) open a clean print page in a new tab:

  • Just the recipe — no theme header, sidebar, ads or comments.
  • Checkboxes to leave out Images, Notes and Nutrition before printing. The photo gallery is never printed.
  • A Print button.
  • A Recipe from … line with the recipe’s web address, so the printout leads back to your site.

The print page is hidden from search engines, so it never competes with your post in Google.

Turning the print button off

  • Site-wide: Recipes → Settings → Buttons → Show a Print button on recipe cards.
  • One card: the block’s Card display → Print button.
  • On the Jump to Recipe block: Show “Print Recipe” button.
