This policy explains what ScrumptiousWP collects when you visit scrumptiouswp.com, buy a plan, or use the Scrumptious plugin, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Order details. Your name, email, billing address and order history when you buy a plan. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
  • License details. Your license key and the web address of each site where you activate it, so we can deliver updates and support.
  • Support messages. Whatever you send us when you ask for help.
  • Launch list. Your email address, if you ask us to tell you when Scrumptious launches. We use it for that note and nothing else, and we’ll remove it whenever you ask.
  • Cookies. This site uses the cookies needed for checkout and your customer account, plus Google Analytics cookies so we can see which pages people visit. Analytics only runs if you click “Sounds good” on the cookie notice. We don’t use advertising trackers.

What the plugin sends

  • The free plugin doesn’t send your content or your visitors’ data to us.
  • If you use AI with Paste & Parse, recipe text goes straight from your site to the AI provider you connect (such as OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or the AI connected in WordPress). It doesn’t pass through our servers, and that provider’s privacy policy applies.
  • Paid plans check your license with our store to deliver updates. That check sends your license key, your site’s address and the plugin version.

How we use it

To process orders and renewals, deliver updates, answer support requests, and send emails about your account and renewals. We only send marketing emails if you opt in. We don’t sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run the business: our payment processor, our store and licensing platform, and our web host. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep account and license data while your plan is active and for a reasonable time after. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, except records we’re legally required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data by emailing [email protected]. If you live in the EU, the UK or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA, and we’ll honor those requests.
