# Privacy and your data

Scrumptious is built to collect as little as possible. This page lists everything, so you can reference it in your site’s privacy policy.

## Stored in your WordPress database

## Stored in the visitor’s browser

- **Local storage** remembers which rating a visitor gave each recipe, so the card can show it. Nothing is sent anywhere. No cookies are set.

## Sent to other services

Nothing is ever sent to ScrumptiousWP. Visitors’ actions never contact outside services.

## Suggested privacy policy text

> When you rate a recipe, we store your rating and an anonymous code generated from your connection, so each person can rate a recipe once. We don’t store your IP address. Your browser remembers the rating you gave.

## Uninstall

See [Settings → Uninstall](https://scrumptiouswp.com/help/settings/). AI keys are always removed when the plugin is deleted; everything else only if you choose.
