# Jump to Recipe

Readers who just want the recipe love a **Jump to Recipe** button at the top of the post. It scrolls smoothly to the recipe card. A **Print Recipe** button can sit next to it.

## Option 1: the Jump to Recipe block

1. Insert the **Jump to Recipe** block near the top of your post.
2. Click the button text to change it (default *Jump to Recipe*).
3. In the sidebar under **Buttons**, turn **Show “Print Recipe” button** on or off.
4. Use the alignment toolbar to place the buttons left, centre or right.

The block jumps to the first recipe card in the post.

## Option 2: add it to every recipe post automatically

Go to **Recipes → Settings → Buttons** and tick **Automatically add “Jump to Recipe” at the top of posts with a recipe**.

Posts where you’ve already placed the Jump to Recipe block (or shortcode) are left alone, so you never get two.

## Option 3: shortcode (classic editor, page builders)

```
[scrumptious-jump]
[scrumptious-jump label="Skip to the recipe" print="0"]
```

| Attribute | Default |  |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `label` | *Jump to Recipe* | Button text |
| `print` | `1` | `0` hides the Print Recipe button |

Posts imported from WP Recipe Maker or Create keep their jump buttons: they’re converted to Scrumptious ones automatically.
